“Just wanted to check in. It has been incredibly busy over here and I don’t know where the time has gone. Everything has been going well and I have been doing a ton of riding. The gear you sent for Touratech East worked out very well. The event itself was a lot of fun and I surprised the other riders on my first guided off road ride with how capable my bike was while carrying all of my camping gear for the weekend. Riders from that first trip offered to lock my Mototrekk panniers for the second ride. I shed all that weight in seconds and I was able to go lighter, faster, and farther on the very muddy class 4 VT forest roads. Also, I have to say — The Bushwackers REALLY helped me out. I had to ride 8 hours on my 250 through a tropical storm to get to the event and then Hurricane Henri shifted directions and drenched me on my way home. Despite two full days of heavy rain, all of my gear stayed dry — huge shout out to the Giant Loop team!” — Vinnie M.
