Today’s bio is a special one. Meet Giant Loop Ambassador (and head of marketing for Giant Loop) Paolo Cattaneo:
My name is Paolo Cattaneo, aka @paolocattaneophoto
Born and raised near Milan, Italy, I moved from country to country for the past 20 years and found a second home in Sydney, Australia.
I’ve been always passionate about the two wheels and extreme sports. Anything that could spike my adrenaline level, was my cup of tea. Over the years I’ve transitioned from Computer Engineer to Muay Thai instructor, to Basketball coach, to Surf Lifesaving instructor, to JetSki patroller, to drone operator, but the list of my passions goes on. I’m definitely a jack of all trades.
In 2015 I quit my 9-5 job as a network engineer and started traveling the world solo with a KTM 1190 adventure. Giant Loop and Harold have been key components in terms of support for the past years. I’m forever thankful to the community and the amazing people behind the brand.
After 8 years on the road, crossing over 48 countries, and beating covid (and cancer), I can say that the unpredictability of life is what motivates me to keep going. I’m ultimately always looking for the next challenge. I now sustain my passions and travels, creating content for KTM and Giant Loop, as an official brand ambassador.
